Gospel music phenom Tye Tribbett is coming to Long Beach to close out “Turnt Up Praise: Check Ya Levels,” a two day praise experience geared towards youth and young adults. Turnt Up Praise, takes place April 16th and 17th at Antioch Church of Long Beach, Pastor Wayne Chaney, Jr. On April 16th S&T Records presents The Showcase, where aspiring gospel artists from the Southern California area have a chance to display their gifts and talents in front of their peers and music professionals. The Showcase is hosted by Kameron Green of KJLH 102.3 Spread the Word. On April 17th The Concert, featuring Tye Tribbett, Vadia, Called II Worship and Praizum takes place. Tickets for The Concert are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Turnt Up Praise: Check Ya Levels takes place on April 16th and 17th. Doors open on Friday April 16th at 7:30pm for meet and greet and fellowship. The showcase begins at 9pm and admission is free. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit ALIVE, a non-profit that send a groups of college students to work with children in Botswana to teach self esteem and environment conservation through organized sports, and Christ Hands on Africa, which donates clothing and resources to struggling families in The Gambia.
