Good Friday is this Friday, April 2, 2010

Are you attending Good Friday Service? That is my favorite service of the year!!! Seven sermons in one service - you can't get more bang for your buck!!!! Are you familiar with the 7 last words of Christ?

1. Luke 23:34 (New International Version)
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

2. Luke 23:43 (New International Version)
Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

3. John 19:26-27 (New International Version)
26When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," 27 and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

4. Matthew 27:46 (New International Version)
About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

5. John 19:28 (New International Version)
