Deitrick Haddon, the edgy urban contemporary Christian singer who made headlines last September for stating via Twitter, "I don't have a sissy bone in my body," in response to the hoopla surrounding secretly homosexual gospel singers like the recently outed, Tonex, is delving into the world of movies.
The film written by Haddon, 'Blessed and Cursed,' starring Karen Clark Sheard, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Rance Allen, and Drew Sidora is due for release on June 15th of this year. "To see a vision come to pass and come to life is awesome," says the excited 'Love Him Like I Do' crooner in a video that captures behind-the-scenes footage of the production.
Although the public has embraced the young Detroit pastor for his moving songs and impressive vocals, Haddon says he has feels led to do films, since God has given him many stories to write.
It looks like his supporters will, for the first time, get to experience his inspired work this summer.
